2022
Green Bottle is the culminating piece in a series of artworks discussing humanity’s reproduction, packaging, and commodification of the “beneficial” aspects of the natural world and concurrent decimation of ecosystems, habitats, and the environment at large. The form references vessels used to transport plant specimens from the Americas to Europe, one of the earliest stages of environmental colonialism.
