Alternative Flooring

Alternative Flooring is a video artwork discussing land use change and is intended to propose an alternate landscape to the one that humanity has created of concrete, metal, and brick. Rapid urbanization has led to widespread ecological destruction, the pace and severity of which has massively increased since the advent of the Anthropocene. In remembrance of the land, of the beings that inhabited that land, and of the beautiful environments that we have lost, this work suggests what could have been there and no longer is.
